I have taken a lot of pictures this summer. I have not been posting them because I want to enter some of them in a contest. I have had a hard time deciding what to enter. I won a contest at library for my praying mantis picture. They gave me a gift card for Barnes and Nobles. That was pretty cool. Here are some pictures I took this summer.

We have doves at are house! We found babies and we saw a mom. I think these photos are cool.

This a toad I named it Hoppy. I found this toad in my pond. I got it out of the pond, but it went away. Now I have a frog in my pond. I named her Swimmer. Next week I will get some photos of it. This toad is a boy. The frog is a girl you can tell by its ear drum.

I want want a pet newt. I have a snake and it bit me today. Thank you for visiting my blog.

Sorry I was gone for a while. These pictures where taken at a park in Springfield. It is where I took the blue heron pictures. I hope you like these photos of turtles. I use to want a pet turtle. I still like them but I don’t want one for a pet. I will start posting more when I am done with school. See you.

This is Nick’s mom. It’s been a while since Nick has taken any photos. The cold and snow has kept us in. This past weekend we went to visit Nick’s nana, and Nick tried to get some pictures of a pair of nesting bald eagles. We are going to go back in a few weeks to see if he can’t get a few more that are closer and cleaner.
